What are Frameworx?
CityWest Homes has developed “Frameworx” to deliver New Build and Refurbishment projects for contracting authorities based in London. There are a variety of services available which cover Traditional and Design & Build Contractors, Developers and a Mixed Consultancy Framework for construction projects.
CWH have been working with WSMBC (Westminster Small Minority Business Council) in order to fulfil this requirement for CityWest Homes and Westminster City Council along with CompeteFor which is a brand new advertising tool that was piloted by CityWest Homes and Westminster City Council and was launched by the London Development Agency. This gives the business community free and open access to contract opportunities generated by central and local government.

The type of construction work for which the Frameworx are intended to be used includes New Homes and Refurbishment, Remodelling, Repair of existing residential property, Commercial and Community facilities including Shops, Leisure Centres and Schools.
What are the benefits?

Potential OJEU procurement savings of £50,000-£100,000
These Frameworks have been procured via a robust OJEU process and give you the benefit of saving you the cost of going out to OJEU. This offers a substantial saving of over £50,000 per OJEU you would run.
Competitive pricing structure
As a member, the framework offers a very competitive pricing structure which can be tailored to suit your needs. Unlike many frameworks in the market there are no percentage fees associated with these frameworks ensuring these is completed cost transparency for our clients.
There are several Lot options available giving you flexibility to deliver a variety of construction projects from General Refurbishment of properties to New Build Developments.
One-off fee
All Frameworks are subject to a one off fee. There are no hidden charges and you can use the Frameworks for as many projects as you like during your membership period.
Reporting and Management information
It is our intention to provide management information on each of our contractors on the framework and feed this back to all of our clients, so we can benchmark contractor performance.
Ready to utilise now
If you’re a contracting authority in London then you can use these Frameworks NOW! There is no need to spend 12-18 months procuring your own Framework when you can utilise this Framework to deliver your projects immediately.

We have over 40 Contractors and Consultants on the Frameworks. We understand that you may have a large variation of projects both in scope and value so we have designed our Frameworks so that you can effectively find a one stop shop for all you framework needs.

Once you have purchased a framework you can use if as many times as you like for the period of your membership. We feel this offers great value for money giving you the freedom to maximise the benefits of this Framework for all your construction projects.

How will the Frameworx be managed?
Although the Frameworx team will keep an overview of the Frameworx Contractor’s performance, it is envisaged that day-to-day contractor management responsibilities will fall with the respective clients.

What does it cost?

The fees will enable you to have unlimited use of the Framework for an annual period. Discounts will apply if you require the Framework for a four year term.
How long do the Frameworx last for?
The Frameworks were launched in 2008 and will be available for the next 4 years. Below is summary of each framework start/end dates.
